FOREWORD

The Directorate of Institutional Finance has prepared a State Credit Plan covering Schemes of various government departments which involve bank financing. Dovetailing Action Plans of government departments with Credit Plans of banks will go a long way in making these plans more realistic and need based.

An additional objective is to have a ready reckoner that would help government departments as well as district administration in reviewing progress against targets, in the course of the financial year. Hence both department wise and district wise targets of various bank financed government schemes have been incorporated.

This is the fifth edition of the State Credit Plan brought out by the Directorate. We would welcome your valuable suggestions for improving this publication. We are grateful for the cooperation extended by various departments in furnishing the necessary data. The untiring efforts of Shri R.A. Diwan,A.S.O. and Ms Priyanka Kansari, Programmer, are duly acknowledged.
